Welcome to Eat This Review!

About the Site:

ETR is an independently run site all about food-related events, gourmet products, and regional specialties. Made for both the connoisseur and the casual foodie—and everyone in between—ETR seeks to give readers mouthwatering, useful, and timely food news and reviews written in an engaging and witty style.

There are already plenty of food blogs out there dedicated to restaurants, culinary trends, and new products. They’re all great—don’t get me wrong—but I wanted to do something different. I therefore came up with three things I always wanted to see written about: First, where do I find news about the best events in town, be they food festivals, international shows, or publicity parties? Second, how do I know whether or not to try the thousands of gourmet foods available in stores, online, or internationally? And third, how do I find out about the unusual regional specialties or dishes unique to different parts of the United States?

Eat This Review sets out to answer all these questions with three main categories: Events, Products, and Regional Specialties. Scroll down and see how you can help by suggesting a food or event, or by sending me your product!

About the Creator:

I have been a foodie from a young age. I realized there was a problem when I looked through my childhood books and remembered only those pages with food scenes. I think about food pretty much all day, every day. NYC-based, I’m a chef through City Harvest and Play 4 Life, I’ve consulted for the Food Network, and I’m a professional restaurant reviewer. I also work in food marketing, advertising, photography, and product invention.

ETR is completely independently run and written. The only other contributor to the site is my brother, Timothy, a published food writer and reviewer who edits and consults for this site. We have no advertisers, no sponsors, no subsidized advertorials, nothing. The goal is to bring you news with no motivation other than to share my love of food.

How It Works:

Want me to review your food or food-related product? Is there an event I should know about? Perhaps you’d like to share a food that’s the pride of your state or county. Whatever it is, I'd like to hear your thoughts via the Contact Us page. If you’d like me to review your product, email me at KCooper@att.net and I’ll tell you where to send samples.

Many thanks to Amber Mattson, my fantastic web designer.

I hope you enjoy the site! There will be something new every day to get you hungry for more…
