Upcoming: The 2010 International Restaurant & Foodservice Show
Monday, February 8, 2010 at 11:43AM Three weeks from today will start a three-day run of the 2010 New York International Restaurant and Foodservice Show in the Jacob Javitz Center. The show goes from Sunday, February 28 to Tuesday, March 2.
This has been a fantastic show over the past few years, complete with unique food from over dozens of countries as well as home-grown specialties. Including the PMQ Pizza Show, the New York Wine Expo, a New Products Gallery, the Farm Fresh Pavilion, the Coffee, Tea, & Dessert Pavilion, the Ultimate Barista Challenge, a Japanese Demonstration Theater & Pavilion, the U.S. Pastry Competition, a Catering Symposium, and education sessions, the show barely leaves time for people to attend the over 650 booths with information and samples on everything in the restaurant industry.
You’re guaranteed to learn a lot about the restaurant industry and get a very full belly of food samples while doing so. Did you know that many restaurants don’t make homemade soups, but often use complete soups that they can reheat, add a spice or decoration to, and call their own? Want to know how all-in-one ovens work? Need a source for organic, imported Nigerian chocolate? You’ll find all the information here. Love sampling? Few food fairs will give you a more diverse sampling of amazing foods from around the world. Most memorable from past years include delicious empanadas, unique muffins, and imported Japanese delicacies.
